Thank you to First Northern Bank, Travis Credit Union and Recology Dixon who have pledged Bronze Sponsorships of our summertime efforts to raise funds to help people in our community.
We are hoping to hear from more of our partners regarding sponsorships and other contributions before the summer is over.
It is our hope that you can help us by pledging a sponsorship, donating a raffle prize or purchasing dinner and raffle tickets.

Many people are struggling to take care of themselves and their families. More people than ever are falling into the categories of “unemployed”, “homeless”, “at serious risk of homelessness” and “despair”.
Support programs previously provided by local, State, and Federal Government are being cut daily, so our services are needed more than ever before.
You can help by supporting Dixon Family Services and our programs. Your contribution goes directly toward helping people in this community.
– Community Support Is Essential To Our Success – |
Dear Friend;
As you know, Dixon Family Services is Dixon’s non-profit organization that provides programs to help people in need. For 27years our “one-stop-shop” of social services has been helping children, teens, families, singles and seniors. Thousands of people are better off and many more have achieved goals such as sobriety, positive parenting skills, social & emotional skills, escape from domestic violence, employment, financial stability, and family cohesiveness and are now active, productive and giving members of this community.
Thanks to the generosity of Bud and Cherie Fanning, owners of Bud’s Pub & Grill – we are currently planning a summer fund-raising event: Dinner Night at Bud’s at 100 South First Street, Dixon. The date and time is Monday, August 29 from 4PM to 9PM. Tickets are on sale for $22 each. The delicious menu includes choices of Prime Rib, Chicken & Mushrooms, Fresh Salmon, Spinach Feta Rigatoni or Tri Tip. All dinners include a house salad, garlic roasted red potatoes, bread and non-alcoholic drink.
