Fall Campaign

Fall 2011 Dear Friends, Dixon Family Services thanks you for your past support of our programs that help the children, families, seniors and individuals of Dixon. Your contribution allows our agency to offer prevention, support, and on-going services that help people move toward independence and self-sufficiency. Each year during the cold winter months, our agency sees an increase in needs. Utility bills are high, food budgets need supplementation, and kids need warmer clothes. Many people have been, and will continue to be, affected by the economic recession. Unemployment continues to rise and homelessness is increasingly the end result for those who have run out of resources. Community-based Family Resource Centers like Dixon Family Services are more important than ever to be a support system for those who find themselves struggling, many for the first time in their lives. Please take this opportunity to send in your generous donation to help families in need. With your check to DFS you may be making a difference in the life of someone in your own neighborhood, a co-worker, or even a friend or relative. On behalf of Dixon Family Services’ Board, Staff, Volunteers, and most of all - the people we serve, we thank you in advance for your generosity.
