Dear Friend;

Dixon Family Services is Dixon’s non-profit organization that provides programs to help people in need.  For over 27 years our “one-stop-shop” of social services has been helping children, teens, families, singles and seniors.  Thousands of people are better off and many more have achieved goals such as sobriety, positive parenting skills, social & emotional skills, escape from domestic violence, employment, financial stability, and family cohesiveness and are now active, productive and giving members of this community.  We are in great need of financial support from our local community as much of the County and State funds for specific programs have diminished terribly.

We are currently planning our 2012 fundraising events.  Again this year there will be a Dinner Night at Bud’s on Monday, August 27 from 4PM to 9PM.  Tickets will soon be on sale for $22 each.

Also this year we plan to continue our on-line auction of gifts and prizes from generous donor businesses and individuals.  We plan to begin on-line bidding as soon as we have items to auction off.

We also plan on selling raffle tickets for the Bud’s Dinner Night Event as soon as possible at local events such as the Farmer’s Market, Wine Strolls and the Grillin’ n Chillin’.

If you can donate a prize or auction item, we ask that you consider doing so as soon as possible.  Gift certificates, prizes, and baskets with a themed grouping of gifts are very popular.  Any donation you can make will be greatly appreciated.

Having your donated prize will encourage people to purchase tickets and at the same time will let everyone know that you and/or your business are making a difference in your community by supporting Dixon Family Services and our mission to improve lives.
